Small Parts Composed Together is a series of photographic experiments working with my personal archives that represents five generation of family images and texts.  The title Un tout en ses parties (small parts composed together) comes from a text I wrote as a child in my notebook.  The handwritten definition for analyse and synthesize echo my ‘post-printing’ process: I use multiple parts of archive photographs to compose new expansive propositions.

Un tout en ses parties est une série d’expérimentations photographiques faites à partir de mes archives personnelles représentant cinq générations d’images et de textes. Le titre, Un tout en ses parties provient d’un texte que j’ai écrit au verso d’un cahier lorsque j’étais en 5e année.   Ces définitions des mots analyse et synthèse décrivent bien mon approche post-impression (un travail avec la photo imprimée).   Je me sers de divers éléments des archives pour composer de nouvelles propositions expansives.
